Lynette is a Senior Occupational Therapist at Pathways Children's Therapy Services. She is an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 20 years' of experience supporting children and their families. Lynette has worked extensively within early intervention across specialist services, private practice and community health settings.
Throughout her career, Lynette has worked closely with children and families to support development, participation and independence in everyday life. She has worked as part of a transdisciplinary team and values collaboration with families and other professionals to ensure children receive individualised support. Lynette has held management roles within organisations in the past. This has provided her with a strong understanding of leadership, team collaboration and the delivery of quality services to children and their families.
Lynette is committed to working in partnership with families and takes a strengths-based, family-centred approach to therapy. She believes that families are an integral part of the therapy process. Lynette works collaboratively with parents and carers to develop practical strategies that can be incorporated into everyday routines and environments.
A fun fact about Lynette is that she loves to sing and has been part of an acapella singing group for over 20 years, sharing her love of music with a wonderful group of friends.

She is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach and is commited to working alongside families to understand each child's individual needs in relation to developing supportive and practical strategies around mealtimes and food exploration.
Lynette is passionate about helping children build on their strengths and abilities, while supporting families to feel confident and empowered in their child's development. Through her training in the DIR/Floortime model, Lynette supports children with Autism, and their families, to be able to relate and function to the best of their ability in their daily lives.
